A poem I had written back in March 2013, inspired from the quote –

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.  – Rumi

Away from all turmoil, leaving
The dreading truth behind, I arrive
In a world of my own
Where I feel alive.

The music of silence on banishing noise,
And beauty of mind with vanishing sight,
In a world of my own,
My senses welcoming a new light.

Building life on castles of unreal dreams,
Thwarting all logic and reasons,
In a world of my own,
Accepting my soul’s existence.

Breaking free from restraining chains,
Knowing no rules, no bounds,
In a world of my own,
We unite on the same grounds.
